The Vein, Heart and Vascular Institute in South Tampa and Wesley Chapel, Florida, is excited to announce the addition of Vatsal Inamdar, MD, to the VHV team.
Dr. Inamdar spent most of his life in the United States, completing both his residency and cardiology fellowships at Winthrop University Hospital in Long Island, New York. Afterward, completed his electrophysiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he received extensive training in complex arrhythmia management and device implantation.
He completed an additional fellowship in echocardiography at the University of Alabama-Birmingham while training under Navin Nanda, MD, a pioneer in the field of echocardiography.
As an electrophysiologist, Dr. Inamdar is a heart doctor who specializes in treating abnormal heart rhythms. If the heart is beating too slow, he may implant a pacemaker and when medicine fails to adequately treat a rapidly beating heart, he performs a procedure known as radiofrequency ablation.
He treats problems such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions.
Beyond his high level of training and expertise, Dr. Inamdar is also passionate about making a patient's visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
That patient-centered approach explains why the team at the Vein, Heart and Vascular Institute is excited about Dr. Inamdar joining the practice. He officially started seeing patients in our South Tampa and Wesley Chapel locations in June of 2019.
