Melinda Hovey is a Family Nurse Practitioner Certified through The American Association of Nurse Practitioners who works closely with Dr Fakhri and Dr Saadi. She has a background in Cardiac ICU management and prior to obtaining her NP license worked as a Critical Care Nurse and Nurse Educator at Tampa General Hospital in the Cardiac ICU, Trauma ICU, and Medical Surgical ICU for over 10 years. She obtained her Master's in Science of Nursing at The University of South Florida in 2017 and has been working with Vein Heart and Vascular for the past three years. She specializes in Interventional Cardiology as well as Vascular Disease and has a passion for Heart Failure Management.
